We
hope you enjoyed the beautiful Ganesha Habba function on Septemebr 13.
We are glad you came in such large numbers and participated in the
pooja, Bhajans and Prasada. Thanks very much for your cooperation and
help.
Now
we are ready to go ahead with the next gatherings – Nadahabba, a Kannada
movie and a number of other
activities. A brief summary
of the upcoming events is given below. Please mark your calendar and call
us to offer help. More details will be coming to you shortly in the
Newsletter.

BAZAAR, SANTHE:
Tables
will be set up in the cafetaria with useful items for all members. Members
who have GOOD SLIGHTLY USED OR NEW
ITEMS are requested to bring them for donation to others who can use
them. Suggested items are: winter clothes, boots, toys, small household
items. Please
do not bring heavily used, old items etc. The basic rule we would
like to follow is: “if you are
prepared to buy them, you can donate them”.
If you would like to donate items for this worthy sharing please
call: 905-737-9040. Donated items will be available for all to pick up
without obligations. Tables for SALE AND ADVERTISING items will also be
available for a nominal donation of $20. Please call and book.
RANGOLI,
RANGOLI, RANGOLI:
All
those Rangoli artists please come prepared to showcase
your talents and teach others ! We will provide a canvass (White
- Bristol board). Please bring your own rangoli powder, flower petals,
seeds, whatever you may want to use.

All Youth ---Help out at Food Bank on Thanks Giving Day and earn volunteer
credits. Monday October 13, 10 am to 12 noon.

Odissi Dance Creations Presents “Bhishma” an Odissi Dance performance
at Leah Posluns Theatre, Bathurst Community Centre, 4588 Bathurst Street,
Toronto, on Oct. 23, 24,25 & 26.
